Find Job Tips

The last job i had was working at an office supplies company, but I was redundant, I had only working there for two months and basically they weren’t doing very well, so I ended up having my employment terminated.

There are loads pf places you can go to look for a job, try the job centre, look online or in local newspapers. You can use the phone book to find potential employers in your local area.

Get online :
Most employers advertise online, so make sure you’ve got internet access, make sure you do your research and find out exactly what skills you need before you apply. Try your local library as they often have free internet access. Set up your own email address with a sensible name so that employers can contact you, don’t forget to update your facebook, bebo, myspace or twitter profile, to boost your online presence.

Friends and family may be able to help you, so tell the you’re looking for work. Get busy :
Doing work experience or volunteering is a great way to show employers that you’ve got what it takes. You should also register with local recruitment agencies who will ask to see a copy of your CV. You should never have to pay a recruitment agency to find you a job. Chase up your submitted application forms by calling or emailing the company, cast your net wide and apply for as many jobs as possible.
