The 18th- floor magical room is decked out in pink and black (the preferred palette of The Plaza’s most famous resident, of course). lt`s me first such collaboration for Johnson, who infused her signature touch of whimsy in the form of a pink chandelier, a white zebra-print carpet, sparkly bedding, and “Eloise" written in neon lights on the wall.

Omni Hotels’ Kids' Sensory Suites (omni hotels.com) were designed with the help of 10-year-olds, and it shows. The digs are equipped with everything a kid could want: vibrant decor, beanbag chairs, an art table, tub toys, puzzles, board games, and a Kids' Sensation Bar stocked with enough snacks, trinkets, and activity supplies to calm the crankiest little traveler.

The Loews Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando (loewshotels.com) houses Jurassic Park suites that open only into your king room, not the hallway. The digs, plenty big enough for two kids, feature raptor’s-cage headboards, custom wall murals, and artwork from the making of the movies. Even the furniture fits the theme.
